There is a large and growing body of research, published articles and scientific writings on amino acids, neurotransmitter therapy and whole food supplementation. To make it easier for you, we've listed on the left side bar several of the key ones. Where possible, we've included a short abstract with a link to the full text. These are perfect articles to give to your doctor if you desire 3rd party verification of the science behind NeuroWellness. Perhaps the best place to start is the interview with Mary Beth Ackerley, a Harvard-trained MD, who talks about the importance of amino acid therapy. The next paper, about the effects of amino acids on serotonin and dopamine, is the first of it's kind anywhere in the world. It's extremely technical and requires an advanced degree in biochemistry to understand it. The chapter on depression and amino acids, published by Johns Hopkins MD Ingrid Kohlstadt, is equally technical and presents for the first time the "Neural Bundle Damage Theory" of neurotransmitter depletion. Specific to ADHD, we did our own internal research on the effects of amino acids, and recently prepared a manuscript for eventual publication. Last, we have the first research ever completed on the effectiveness of whole food supplements on health and wellness. It's a big file, so if you contact us, we'll be happy to send it to you. More articles to come. |
